Cheap skin care & make-up routine?
I'm 33 and have lost that youthful glow. I would like to start a skin care & make up routine that won't be expensive and take too much time. I'd like suggestions for using natural or homemade products. I've started using plain natural yogurt on my face neck for moisture & exfoliation and I love it I've also use chamomile tea bags on my eyes to reduce puffiness. My skin is healthy, no blemish problems. I'm just starting to get fine lines and not as firm anymore. I see all these anti wrinkle serums & beads, creams & scrubs. For make up, there is Primer? Like on my walls? Lol Beauty experts suggests all these different brushes for each step. Those things aren't cheap Won't a q tip do? I don't want to be an airbrushed model. I just want even skin tone without looking like I'm covered in a dusty white mask. All of these highlighters, brighteners, toners etc have me so confused. The people at the stores mall just want you to buy EVERYTHING. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Best skin care/make-up for me/ adult acne?
I am 31 and suffering adult acne around my jaw and neck. I need to now a good skincare regime and good foundation for this. I have never had particularly sensitive skin. I have tried Clinique and Clarins before and both did nothing waste of money. I don't live in the US so could you try to suggest something that is available internationally.
Does anyone know of any skin care / make up products which are water based and don't contain lanolin......
or mineral oil? I was just reading up on it and lanolin can cause red, swollen and itchy eyelids which I've been getting really badly. It also said that hypoallergenic makeup, which I've also been using clinique can cause this as it contains lanolin, I've just checked and it does. I tried no makeup today and just used E45 cream but I just checked that also, and it contains lanolin too So maybe even thats been causing my problems. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can use, ie, moisturisers and makeup. I hear that water based, lanolin free, light coloured and matt makeup is best? But which makes? I get married in June and I really want to get to the root of this problem before then. Thanks

Ok, there are a few questions Which do u prefer pressed or loose powder and is pressed powder that bad for ur skin because its so much easier to bring along and apply? like if i wash it off b4 i sleep will it still cause problems? How do u get rid of blackheads the type on the nose and cheeks and strips dont work cuz there kinda deep and really small?Hey yall thx for who ever helps me out and the most and im sure ill giv u 10 points. Oh and btw i really need help bout the powder thing cuz i dont wanna being using something bad but its so so much better for me when i use pressed it also stays on longer.

I have normal combination skin. only real problems i have are around my nose. it can get dry, my t zone. from the nose and below are the main areas. rare pimples but yeah. and my cheeks get alittle red. some times dry. seldom. i hoping someone like me is reading this. haha i would like help with skin care products I'm using this stuff from clean and clear which is working fine but who knows what else is good moisturizers, concealer , foundation and bronzer. and maybe blush.im not really on a budget. summer job haha just i dont want to spend 50 bucks on fondation. so reasonable but yet good range haha. please someone help and thank you.
Please advice me on skin care & make up for a bride?
HiI am getting married on 24th of feb 2008. I have a wheatish to dusky skin, and ofcourse slightly normal to oily skin type. Please advice me a good skin care regime so that i can see my skin glowing on my wedding day.... and ofcourse some ideas on make up too. How do I use make up to its best... So that it looks great & natural... Also what is a face highlighter and how is it used.... Thanks

Skin Type oily, large pores with a few blemishes now and again.This is my skin routine and the products i use.I try not to wear much makeup and keep it light as possible.I try to use basic cleansing products on my skin and not use to many just what i need.Morning Wash face with 'Clarins' Foaming facial cleanser for oily skin and rinse with cool water.Apply 'Simple' toner with cotton padApply 'Boot's No.7' Day sorbet day moisturiser spf15Makeup'Boots No.7' Shine free primer. really makes a difference to my skin and how oily it gets through the day 'Boots No.7' Loose powder mineral foundation spf 15 i find powder is better than liquid for oily skin plus the mineral one seems to be a lot lighter on my skin and my skin has become a lot more clear because i don't have heavy products on my skin 'Boots No.7' mascara'Boots No.7' LipstickEvening.I wash my face twice with 'Clarins' Foaming facial wash for oily skin and rinse with warm water. first wash is to remove makeup, Second wash is to actually clean my skin I then apply 'Simple' toner.Then i apply 'Boots No.7' Night sorbet night moisturiser I also steam my face over a sink and i use a 'superdrug' Mud mask after to clean my pores out once a week.As far as my diet i eat pretty healthy and i drink LOTS of water.The products i use have taken me year's to find and i find each one works perfectly and does it's job So what do you think of my skin care routine, would you class this as a good routine?
